We, the First Presbyterian Church of Kilgore, Texas, are a community of God’s people bound together by God’s Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. Our purpose in worship and work is to glorify God, being faithful to the Reformed tradition and the heritage of our church. By God’s grace and power we seek to:

• Praise God in corporate worship through Word, Sacraments, music and prayer.

• Proclaim the gospel through example and witness.

• Teach and nurture the Christian faith.

• Be faithful stewards with our time, talents, and possessions.

• Serve those in need, seeking justice and mercy.

• Share fellowship with one another through the work of the Holy Spirit.
