We, the First Presbyterian Church of Kilgore, Texas, are a community of God’s people bound together by God’s love and grace through faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord, and led by the Holy Spirit. Our purpose in worship and work is to be disciples of Christ glorifying God, being faithful to the Reformed tradition and to the rich heritage of our church, while also acknowledging the necessity of carefully considered change brought about by the need to include all people to achieve diversity.

We claim God's Mission as we seek to:

1. Praise God in corporate worship through Word, Sacraments, music and prayer.

2. Proclaim the gospel through example and witness.

3. Teach and nurture the Christian faith.

4. Be faithful stewards with our time, talents, and possessions.

5. Serve those in need, seeking justice and mercy.

6. Share fellowship with one another through the work of the Holy Spirit.
